Improving Clarity and Connection in a 135 Year-Old Brand
Guided Decisions Cradle Beach is a 135 year-old nonprofit organization offering both traditional and new services. It was experiencing brand confusion with another Camp-related nonprofit, and. there was little awareness of the full range of the services provided. They were experiencing reduced donations and difficulty hiring counselors, which was also a symptom of brand confusion.
The Challenge
We created a core team of board and staff with marketing and organizational expertise and included families, volunteers, and key constituents in discovery sessions. The completed brand outcome recommendation included a new tagline and refreshed logo. We conducted training for the board and staff to ensure consistent messaging. Now, we are working on transitioning the communications to reflect the new brand and creating a case for support to finetune the fundraising messaging.
